★ ★ ★Don’t have a large outdoor space to work with? Maybe you have a few window boxes, or want to put a contained plant on your front porch? Gardening in containers is the perfect solution for smaller spaces, and can be adapted to fit your environment.
1
Fill container to the brim with potting soil (do not tamp down or “bang pot” causes soil compaction).
Tip
Make sure there’s no gravel in the bottom to improve drainage.
2
Remove pots of each plant, loosen roots.
3
Plant each plant into container (tall thriller plant, filler plants, spiller plants).
Tip
Plant plants in groups of 3 (odd numbers: 1/3/5).
4
Water to saturate once, wait 20 minutes. Repeat, then water to saturate.
