Spray outline of desired garden bed around mailbox.

Scalp existing turf with lawn mower or weed eater.

Lay 3-5 sheets of newspaper over scalped area, watering as you go.

Add soil/compost mix to outlined area: depth: 12-36 inches.

Plant into mound.

Add 1” of decorative mulch.
